Kevin was one of the founding members of the Veteran Caucus at the Oklahoma House of Representatives. The Veteran Caucus is made up of legislators in both the house and the senate who have served honorably in the military. Kevin also led the way in calling out one of the members of the house of representatives in his own party for “Stolen Valor”. Any veteran who wears an award, ribbon or medal without earning commits “Stolen Valor” even if they served honorably in the military. All members of the veteran caucus have to provide proof of military service.
Kevin along with members of the veteran caucus work diligently for the veterans of Oklahoma. Some of the top issues include homelessness, disability, healthcare, honoring our veterans, providing easy access to needed services.
